This senior leadership role sits at the forefront of oncology commercialization, driving the marketing strategy for a late-stage pipeline targeting RAS-driven cancers. The position plays a critical role in shaping launch readiness for innovative targeted therapies, with a strong focus on market preparation, customer insight generation, and strategic positioning. You will lead the development of integrated marketing plans spanning branding, messaging, and disease education initiatives across multiple stakeholders. Working within a highly cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with medical affairs, clinical development, market access, and external partners to ensure alignment and impact. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution to translate complex science into compelling value narratives. It also offers the opportunity to build and scale a marketing team in a fast-evolving, science-driven organization.
- Lead the development and execution of global and US marketing strategy for late-stage oncology assets, ensuring readiness for successful product launch and long-term brand growth.
- Define positioning, messaging architecture, branding, and customer engagement strategies based on deep market, patient, and HCP insights.
- Oversee market research initiatives, customer journey mapping, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement integrated promotional and educational campaigns across digital, print, and peer-to-peer channels.
- Manage external agency and vendor partnerships, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Serve as a key commercial voice in cross-functional forums, collaborating with clinical, medical affairs, market access, and investor relations teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal governance standards across all marketing activities.
- Support budget planning and management for marketing operations and initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing customer marketing team.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing, including leadership of launch-ready or launched products.
- Strong background in oncology or complex specialty therapeutics preferred.
- Demonstrated success in developing data-driven marketing strategies and translating insights into execution.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Experience working with agencies and external partners in a commercial marketing context.
- Competitive base salary range: $244,000 – $305,000 USD.
