About the Role
This role is critical to supporting the expansion of our Core Systems. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be the architect and owner of our data integration strategy, building robust and scalable pipelines specifically tailored for our Credit and Loan products.You will join a high-performing squad where data isn't just a byproduct—it's the fuel for our credit scoring, risk models, and financial decision-making. We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, possesses a deep "ownership" mentality, and is comfortable advising stakeholders on how to build a world-class data foundation that supports our hyper-growth.
Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, end-to-end data pipelines for Credit and Loan products, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
• Continuously optimize data architecture to improve querying performance while maintaining high cost-efficiency.
• Partner closely with the Credit Squad to deeply understand their data needs, translating business requirements into technical data solutions.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Act as a strategic consultant for non-technical stakeholders, providing data-driven insights to guide product and business decisions.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, documentation, and testing to ensure our Core Systems remain resilient as we scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering roles, specifically building, maintaining, and scaling data architectures in production environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and dbt. You should be comfortable building complex transformations, managing analytics engineering workflows, and handling high-volume datasets.
• Proven experience in designing robust data models (Star Schema, Data Vault, etc.) specifically for financial or transactional products.
• Previous experience working with Credit, Loans, or Ledger systems is highly valued.
• A track record of taking ownership of complex projects from inception to deployment with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate development, automate monitoring, and improve code quality.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication skills; ability to explain technical trade-offs to business leads.
• Advanced English level.
• These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
