Sr. Instructional Designer (Remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Instructional Designer - REMOTE. This role is crucial in developing professional learning experiences that drive user engagement and educational outcomes. Working with a dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in instructional design while supporting product adoptions and ensuring that educators have the resources they need to succeed. Your impact will extend across various learning environments and help shape the educational landscape for K-12 learners. With a focus on collaboration, you will partner with stakeholders to create innovative solutions that address diverse needs in education.
Accountabilities- Partner with product and assessment stakeholders to clarify requirements for professional learning offerings.
- Develop research-aligned professional learning that meets defined learning outcomes.
- Build knowledge of educational programs and curricula to ensure content accuracy.
- Collaborate within scrum teams to meet high-quality standards.
- Support backlog refinement with Product Owner and Lead IDs.
- Mentor junior team members and provide feedback to enhance quality.
- Analyze user research insights to recommend improvements.
- Support live sessions and internal training as required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in EdTech product development and instructional design.
- At least 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Strong understanding of K-12 curricula and learning trends.
- Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple projects independently.
- Experience with asynchronous professional learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia).
- Experience facilitating professional learning in diverse environments.
- Excellent writing, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster productive working relationships across teams.
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Experience in agile or scrum environments preferred.
- Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 depending on experience.
