Senior Chief of Staff, R&D - REMOTE

This role will be a pivotal strategic partner embedded within the Research & Development organization, working closely with senior leadership. You will drive operational excellence, enhance decision-making processes, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness and focus of the entire R&D team, helping to transform strategic goals into actionable results. Accountabilities- Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to R&D leadership.
- Own the operational cadence of R&D team meetings and planning.
- Act as a cross-functional connector to other business units.
- Maintain dashboards that showcase R&D progress and risks.
- Lead high-priority initiatives that cross team boundaries.
- Draft and manage key communications for the R&D department.
- Collaborate on hiring and talent development strategies.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy or operations in SaaS or tech.
- 3+ years in a Chief of Staff or strategic operational role.
- Deep understanding of R&D organization dynamics.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Exceptional communication and presence with executives.
- Ability to drive process improvement effectively.
- High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in navigating ambiguity and complex environments.
- Familiarity with program/project management methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
