Job Summary: This job requires a detail-oriented worker that can do interior and exterior cleaning at a professional level.
Requirements:Responsibilities:
- Wash, wax, buff car exteriors
- Wash windows
- Clean interior (vacuum, shampoo)
- Wash engine and engine housing
- Clean tools/devices frequently
- Process all used and new inventory in a timely manner (2 days or less)
Skills Required:
- To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
- Prefer 2 years of general detailing experience
- Valid driver license with a driving record acceptable to our insurance company.
- Certifications as appropriate for individual position.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
- Work is generally performed indoors but occasionally is performed outdoors. Indoors work is in a shop environment, and may have exposure to cool or hot conditions, elevated noise levels, fumes and dust. Outdoors work is exposed to ambient heat and cold, and to sun, rain and other weather conditions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing/walking for short distances: up to entire work shift on hard surfaces.
- Sitting: Up to 1/4 of work shift including in vehicles
- Carrying: frequently, up to 20 pounds for up to 200 feet; occasionally, up to 50 pounds for up to 20 feet.
- Lifting: frequently, up 50 pounds; occasionally, up to 100 pounds.
- Pushing/pulling frequently, up to 50 pounds force.
- Bending and twisting: frequently, to access all areas and parts of vehicles.
- Squatting/kneeling: occasionally, on hard and soft surfaces.
- Climbing: occasionally, ladders to six feet.
- Reaching above shoulder height: frequently.
- Hearing capability adequate to interpret vehicle noises for diagnosis and proper operation.
- Sight adequate to perform duties, operate vehicles, and identify shop conditions and hazards.
