Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in theology, Christian education, or related field strongly preferred.
  • 6+ years of editorial or content development experience.

  • Experience developing Bible study materials, curriculum, or faith-based educational content.
  • Strong expertise in substantive editing, manuscript development, and content restructuring for clarity and instructional value.
  • Ability to create original content and adapt contributions from writers to meet audience and learning goals.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate theological discussions with clarity and sound judgment.
  • Experience collaborating with writers, ministry partners, and cross-functional teams in a feedback-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content production workflows.
  • Experience mentoring, training, or supporting other editors or contributors is a plus.
  • Active involvement in a Southern Baptist church required.
  • Willingness to travel 2–4 times per year for team gatherings or events.
Benefits
  • 100% remote work within the United States, with occasional travel for team gatherings
  • Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare coverage
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and additional care days
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
