Responsibilities
- Oversee the accurate preparation and presentation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP for all business units, providing results and analysis to senior management and ownership.
- Manage accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain efficient financial processes and controls that ensure data accuracy and integrity across all entities.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process—collecting, analyzing, and consolidating data to deliver actionable insights.
- Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets, reduce risk, and prevent errors or misreporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards across multiple jurisdictions.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and profitability improvement.
- Clearly communicate financial performance and key findings to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Enhance financial returns by implementing policies, controls, and reporting systems that support growth.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct in-depth research on revenue opportunities, market trends, and cost efficiency initiatives.
- Coordinate audits and ensure timely, accurate financial documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the CFO in resource allocation, growth planning, and financial due diligence.
- Monitor evolving accounting standards and ensure proactive compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in manufacturing-based accounting and financial management
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Strong Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) capabilities
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in ERP and financial consolidation systems (SAP Business One preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and process improvement
