About This Position

Description:

As a Warehouse Operator for our Selma, TX . you will be responsible for maintaining all daily shipping both domestic and internationally to meet Logistics requirements. You will work with customer supplied portals as needed, to process and ship orders following customer requirements. Warehouse Operators will support all warehouse operations including assemblies, receiving and shipping, packaging, material handling, and any other related duties as assigned. The operator will work closely with planning and customer service to ensure accurate and complete order processing.

The is a full-time position. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Pay Range: $19.50 to $21.50 an hour.

Requirements:

Essential Job Functions:

• Experience with shipping procedures (electronically and hard copy) - preferred.

• Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook and Office applications - preferred.

• Knowledge of international shipping documents a plus.

• Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks. Accurately count, package, assemble, and ship products.

• Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, and inventory accurately; perform regular cycle count.

• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs without mechanical assistance.

• Coordinate with other business functions to deliver optimal service to customers, and compose and send clear, professional emails as needed.

• Collaborate effectively with Sales Support, Planning, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment and smooth communication across departments.

• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to customer needs.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Other & Miscellaneous:

• Prior experience with SAP is highly desirable.

• Maintain a positive, upbeat, pleasant attitude in a team-oriented environment.

• Will require frequent standing and sitting throughout the workday.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs independently.

• Must be able to operate a forklift or similar equipment safely and efficiently.

• Complies with all company policies and procedures.

• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.

Critical Job Dimensions (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Must learn customer portals for picking and shipping customer products.

• Maintain shipping logs, work with UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL, International paperwork.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• High attention to detail and problem solving.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Strong work ethic with a “can-do” attitude.

• Ability to function independently and multi-task.

• Must enjoy working in a team environment.

Required Job Related Certificates/Licenses:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license

• Forklift certified or able to obtain certification without restrictions upon hire
