About This Position

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Lead Maintenance Person to oversee the upkeep and daily maintenance of our apartment rental property in Albany.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can lead by example.

Responsibilities:

    Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)Oversee preventative maintenance schedulesRespond to maintenance requests in a timely mannerMaintain a safe, clean, and functional environmentCoordinate with vendors and contractors as needed

Qualifications:

    Previous maintenance experience required (lead or supervisory experience preferred)Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independentlyReliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseStrong organizational and communication

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS-

  • Constant need to be on feet; bend, stoop, squat; climb stairs, push or pull, reach above shoulder, climb ladders, grasp/grip/turning; finger dexterity; writing; shoveling; lifting/carrying in the performance of maintenance duties

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
