Position Summary:
To establish effective demand plans, supply plans, production plans and production schedules that balance the requirements of customer service levels, plant efficiencies, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain demand plan.
  • Maintain capacity plan.
  • Maintain and publish weekly Production Plans.
  • Ensure production schedules that drive compliance to plan, production efficiency and effective supply quantities.
  • Manage department staff of three (Warehouse Mgr., Production Scheduler, Material Buyer/Planner).
  • Manage overall inventory levels of WIP and finished goods.
  • Support new product development and launch coordination.
  • Compile information for various tracking and reporting
  • Gather supply chain information related to completing customer bids.
  • Attend daily production meetings with plant management team.
  • Work closely with other department managers and supervisors to resolve production issues and support continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Develop advanced-level understanding of plant operations routing/cycle times and maintain a current situational awareness of operational status.
  • Recommend and implement solutions in support of process changes, order expediting, preventative maintenance cycles, etc.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field required.
  • APICS CPIM Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Supply Chain Manager in a multi-stage manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a planner/scheduler in a multi-stage manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in ERP/MRP preferred.
  • Scheduling software implementation experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be comfortable occasionally visiting the production floor (temperatures are around 40 degrees or less)
  • Required to wear general PPE, including bump cap, hairnet, and ear plugs when visiting production floor.

Pay range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 depending on experience.

Benefits for this role include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA, HSA, 401(k) Plan with Company Match, Vacation & PTO, and Tuition Reimbursement. There is also a potential for a discretionary bonus this bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
