Position Summary

The FBO Manager is responsible for leading all FBO services at Riyadh private terminal, ensuring safe, compliant, and premium ground handling services for business aviation clients. The role focuses on operational excellence, VIP service delivery, and full compliance with GACA and airport authorities

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business, or related field
  2. Preferably with 5 years of Experience in ground operations/services in an aviation company
  3. Diploma in Airport Services or any related course
  4. Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written Arabic and English
  5. Ability to be well organized, able to work on own initiative and under pressure, strong communication skills
  6. Excellent in Customer Service
  7. Leadership Qualities and Strong Communication Skills
  8. Excellent team management and motivational skills
  9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  10. Independent or able to work in a group of an operations team


Main Responsibilities

The Manager FBO Operations is responsible for managing the ground operations station including budgets, manpower, supplies and all other expenses and effectively oversight the safety, quality and security of the operations. He is also responsible to liase with the local airport authorities for company matters.

To contribute as a member of the management team of Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia to the development and implementation of the overall growth strategy with particular emphasis on Ground Operations matters.

Report to: Corporate Operations Manager

Main Responsibilities Cont.

  1. Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times and ensuring safety considerations are given the foremost priority.
  2. Ensure safety and security measures as required by the company policies and procedures.
  3. Report incident, accident and/or unsafe conditions immediately.
  4. Oversee all aspects of the operations including private handling, ramp parking, new business development, customer satisfactions, human resources, environmental, health and safety compliance.
  5. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy, including the development of action plans, deal Negotiations and deal closure.
  6. Maintain regular interaction with customers to promote and to measure the level of customer satisfaction while using customer feedback to continually develop and improve upon capabilities and processes.
  7. Maintain a close relationship and cooperate with the local airport administration to the benefit of the company.
  8. Ensure compliance with all requirements of GACAR Part 151 and airport authority are met at the station.
  9. Provide adequate recruitment, personnel training, efficient procedures, maintenance and safe operation of applicable ground service equipment, compliance with applicable aerodrome safety regulations and procedures, compliance with ground service provider and customer's manuals, processes and procedures, compliance with service level agreements.
  10. To drive and ensure cost-effective performance of Ground Operations through the development and effective implementation/use of financial and performance monitoring systems, planning and using resources in the most effective manner to assist the company in meeting operational standards and targets.
  11. To ensure delivery of strategic aims, objectives and standards through establishing and managing an effective organization structure for Ground Operations, assigning responsibilities and authority levels appropriately to provide effective operational control and supervision of activities that impact upon customer satisfaction, safety, cost-effectiveness and legal operation.
  12. To select, direct, develop and motivate the ground operations team to deliver the highest levels of professional performance, further build their capabilities and achieve established objectives and targets.
  13. Efficient operational organizational structure and reporting.
