Job Summary:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Director and receiving day‑to‑day direction from the Master Scheduler, the Production Planner is responsible for maintaining and executing the Master Production Schedule (MPS). This role plays a key part in ensuring on time delivery, coordinating workflow across departments, and aligning production activities with customer demand and manufacturing capacity. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

You Will:

  • Maintain production schedules using the Epicor MRP system
  • Ensure operations meet required completion dates based on forecasts and customer orders
  • Coordinate material movement, transfers, and releases
  • Prepare production reports and work packages (instructions, drawings, BOMs, etc.)
  • Monitor schedule performance and adjust plans as needed
  • Expedite operations that impact delivery timelines
  • Interpret BOMs, scopes, and specifications to plan work elements
  • Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and other teams
  • Troubleshoot issues using strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Resolve problems utilizing acquired knowledge & analytical abilities.

You Have:

  • Associate’s degree in business management, supply chain management, economics or related field. (Bachelor’s preferred.)
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (EPICOR strongly preferred)
  • Strong Excel and MS Office Skills
  • Excellent communication. Organization and customer service mindset
  • Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple priorities
