Duties
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in training and education programs to enhance nursing skills.
Requirements
• Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.
• Proficient in basic life support techniques.
• Experience with memory care and behavioral health is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices.
• Ability to administer injections safely and effectively.
• Experience in a medical office or travel nursing is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
