Job Overview

Bachmann Pools & Spas is seeking a dependable, motivated Pool General Laborer to join our Service Department. In this full-time role, you will assist with pool liner installations, equipment setups, seasonal openings and closings, and general job site preparation.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in delivering quality results, and values teamwork. You will play a key role in ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation of swimming pool liners.

  • Support pool openings and closings, including cover removal, system startup, and winterization.

  • Install and assist with equipment such as pumps, filters, and related pool systems.

  • Clean and prepare job sites; remove and dispose of debris properly.

  • Accurately complete installation records and required documentation using company-provided tools.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects stay on schedule.

  • Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after service to ensure a positive experience.

  • Maintain a high standard of customer service on every job.

  • Follow all company safety protocols and traffic regulations when operating service vehicles.

  • Maintain organized tools, equipment, and work vehicles.

Qualifications
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (required).

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Previous experience in the pool, plumbing, or electrical industry is preferred.

  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

  • A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws.
