Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. is a world-class leader in designing and manufacturing custom machine bases for vibration-sensitive production tools used in semiconductor fabrication.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts and tools from metal, ensuring precise bending, shaping, and cutting.
· Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine appropriate machine settings and production specifications.
· Inspect completed workpieces for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
· Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues.
· Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
· Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities. Complete necessary documentation for quality control and inventory management.
· Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to resolve any production issues and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
· Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
· High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in machine operation or metalworking is a plus.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Familiarity with various types of metal and their properties.
· Ability to use precision measuring instruments and tools.
· Ability to lift and move materials up to 60 pounds. Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching are required.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
- Physically demanding, working on shop floor
- Personal Protection Equipment must be worn on the shop floor, all PPE provided

The pay range for this role is:
24 - 30 USD per hour(Tualatin HQ)
