Job Overview

Beargate Electrical Contracting Inc. is hiring an experienced Field Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee multiple foreman-led crews on industrial and commercial electrical projects. This leadership role requires expert knowledge of electrical systems, jobsite coordination, and project scheduling. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate multiple active project sites with foreman-led crews

  • Ensure all installations comply with NEC standards, engineering specifications, and Beargates quality expectations

  • Interpret electrical schematics, construction drawings, and technical documentation

  • Enforce site safety policies and procedures; conduct routine safety meetings

  • Monitor project timelines and productivity, addressing issues proactively

  • Collaborate closely with project managers to report progress, resolve issues, and maintain schedules

  • Manage workforce needs, material deliveries, equipment utilization, and subcontractor coordination

  • Utilize digital tools and software to track project progress, submit documentation, and communicate with the team

  • Attend virtual and on-site project meetings (Teams, Zoom, etc.)

  • Mentor field staff and support foremen with technical expertise and leadership

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction preferred.

  • Proven supervisory or superintendent experience leading multiple crews

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC standards, and industrial jobsite practices

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specs

  • Comfortable using technology for communication, documentation, and scheduling (email, smartphones/tablets, Zoom, etc.)

  • Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Associates Degree preferred (or equivalent field experience)

  • Must maintain a professional demeanor, appearance, and leadership presence on job sites
