About the PositionReporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and supporting the Controller, this role focuses on maintaining the integrity of CCSA’s financial records, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and ensuring timely and accurate accounting for a nonprofit environment. The Accountant is responsible for core accounting activities including reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable support, financial reporting support, budget related tasks and assistance with audit and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, experience in nonprofit organizations and a commitment to mission-driven work.

Qualifications- Frequent/regular communication with internal staff to inquire, clarify and educate on finance related topics or processes; occasional communication with external contacts to obtain or provide information
- Occasional high-intensity concentration required to analyze data, compile reports, etc.
- Occasional mental attention to handle multiple urgent demands/deadlines pressures and/or perform detail-oriented work with regular interruptions.
