The core responsibilities of this role include:
Responsible for materials management, tools, unloading/loading, set up and breakdown in the completion of carpentry support of Crating; Receiving, Packing, Inventory, and shipping of storage, display, production, and sales machines, components, and parts.
Position: Carpenter
Shift: 1st Shift (Friday,Saturday,Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm)
Pay: $26.00 per hour + $1.50 Shift Premium
Additional Incentives: Safety shoe reimbursement
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: [EXAMPLE: A minimum of 6 months operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck]

Role Purpose:
Responsible for materials management, tools, unloading/loading, set up and breakdown in the completion of carpentry support of Crating; Receiving, Packing, Inventory, and shipping of storage, display, production, and sales machines, components, and parts.
Key Accountabilities:
- 100% crating of all large spares order, equipment, and tooling.
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Blocking and bracing of containers (2 to 4 per year).
- Managing crate planning.
- Completes standard crates for inventory.
- Maintains, Repairs, stocks used crates from IB and other sources.
- Maintain tools and carry out preventive maintenance program.
- Maintain lumber minimum stocks, inventory, and place replenishment orders with supervisor.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
- Complete required reports.
- Perform additional duties as required by management.
- Train back up.
Required Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of previous carpentry experience
- Experience and expertise with all manner of carpentry tools
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
