About This Position

CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION:

The Executive Producer is primarily responsible for the sales of our event production and fabrication services.

The focus of this job is making connections with people, motivating and inspiring them to partner with us. While the job requires strong initiative and self-direction, results are best achieved with and through teamwork.

The Executive Producer must possess a sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated, which is the foundation for designing and implementing interactive communication and decision-making processes.

The best candidate must be a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and rigorous attention to detail. Act decisively under pressure, interact with senior levels of management, and handle confidential information, all while always maintaining a professional, calm demeanor.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:      

    Attract secure and develop new business.

    Manage and grow the new accounts you acquire.

    Provide effective business solutions at annual, on-site customer consultations, including recommendations from our existing venue partners.

    Deliver legendary customer service with the help of our sales support team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Responsibilities:

    Manage the sales process from start to finish.

    Has deep knowledge of the market’s needs and trends.

    Mastery of Flex Rental Solutions software.

    Build and maintain relationships.

    Prepare and present presentations to prospective customers.

    Negotiate contracts with clients and close new business.

    Manage the client relationship through the production process.

    Keeps diligent notes and tracks details for assigned and managed accounts

    Post-event follow-up with clients to get feedback.

    Use sales insights and reporting tools.

Budgetary:

    Forecast monthly Gross Sales & Gross Revenue.

    Weekly pipeline review.

    Manage commissions payable.

Management:

    Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure Production, Operations, and Finance are aligned on all booked business.

Service:

    Work to ensure Wizard Studios delivers service excellence that consistently exceeds our customers’ expectations, as evidenced by unsolicited customer testimonials and repeat business.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualified candidate will meet the following requirements:

    2+ years’ experience in the special events industry.

    4+ years’ experience in sales.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including phone, social media, and email skills.

    Ability to think on your feet and overcome objections.

    Demonstrated leadership skills and track record of high ethical character.

    Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as necessary.

    Ability to perform well under a quick sales and negotiation process and strict deadlines.

    Deliver outstanding customer service.   

    Computer skills required:

    CRM Software;

    Contract Management Systems;

    Microsoft Office Suite;

    A high level of proficiency in Google Workspace;

Other skills required:An understanding of audio-visual (a plus)An understanding of custom fabrication (a plus)Working knowledge of Flex Rental Solutions (a plus)

Copper CRM (a plus)
