Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual that will be the first point of contact as a Pet Parent Coordinator. This person should love dogs- and, upon successful completion of training, you can even bring YOUR dog to work with you! What a bonus!

About the Pet Parent Coordinator Role:

  • The focus of this job is making connections with Pet Parents and their pups.
  • Greet everyone who walks in or out of Dogtopia.
  • Answer Pet Parent questions over the phone and in person.
  • Check pups in and out of daycare.
  • Share information about our daycare packages and memberships with Pet Parents.

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Must be energetic, proactive, and a creative problem solver.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment and at times stressful environment.
  • Must have a friendly and professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Jack of all trades, roll up your sleeves type of person. This role is integral in growing the business alongside the General Manager.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a sales or customer service-related role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous sales experience (preference for prior work in a sales quota structure)
  • Functional computer skills required – MS Office basic programs (word, excel), Internet, Basic computer program software use.
  • High school diploma required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to check dogs in and out and manage leashed dogs during the check in process.

Other Requirements:

  • Must love dogs.
