What You'll Do

• Conduct and shape our Concert Band and collaborate with Performing Arts on pit ensembles for fall productions.
• Choose exciting, student-centered repertoire that makes musicians feel proud and audiences cheer.
• Build a welcoming space where beginners and advanced players alike feel supported, challenged, and inspired.
• Recruit new talent across campus?tabling, events, social media, even hallway conversations count!
• Plan and run engaging rehearsals, craft memorable campus performances, and bring creative ideas to life.
• Team up with our vocal music program, drama productions, and student groups to create cross-campus arts magic.

Job Requirements:

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (Master's a plus!)
• Experience directing instrumental ensembles.
• Someone who is organized, upbeat, creative, and ready to recruit and motivate students.
• A collaborator who enjoys working across departments and with diverse student skill levels.
