Accountabilities
  • Lead a team to generate and post Physician and APP schedules monthly across various care sites.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to enhance scheduling for improved clinical quality and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain real-time updates to schedules and mediate any changes as required.
  • Assist in forming facility-specific physician panels based on licensing and privileges.
  • Compile reports on coverage progress and capacity needs by site.
  • Handle escalated physician outreach for capacity and coverage solutions.
  • Provide feedback on scheduling tools to improve functionality.
  • Collaborate with other service lines to share best practices.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports for career development.
  • Supervise staff performance and manage payroll-related activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in physician scheduling or workforce management.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Understanding of provider scheduling processes.
  • Discretion and decisiveness in decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
