Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in being part of a mission that matters? Daniels Health is looking for a Hospital Service Technician to join our team and help support your assigned hospital with critical medical waste services.

This is not a desk jobyoull be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

This is a part-time role working 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) - making this a great opportunity to supplement your income OR enjoy flexibility in your week!

This technician will service 3 LOCATIONS! Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between sites:

WakeMed Raleigh: 3000 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610

WakeMed North: 10000 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27614

WakeMed Cary: 1900 Kildaire Farm Rd, Cary, NC 27518

What will your job involve?

Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areasthis includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.

What are we looking for?

Someone whos physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
Strong attention to detailespecially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
EVS experience is a benefit but not required!
