About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Platform Engineer to support and evolve our enterprise ServiceNow platform and the service management processes it enables.

This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, service operations, and IT governance. You will work closely with service delivery teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure ServiceNow effectively supports incident, problem, change, and service request management, while driving continuous improvement across the IT service landscape.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise application or infrastructure support environments, with hands-on experience supporting or configuring ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms, and a solid understanding of ITIL service management practices.
Responsibilities
  • Configure and support the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, forms, business rules, and automation
  • Support ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB
  • Translate operational requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions
  • Contribute to platform improvements, upgrades, and release cycles
  • Support and optimise IT service management processes within ServiceNow
  • Collaborate with operations teams to improve incident resolution, change control, and service stability
  • Assist with service governance, platform standards, and best practices
  • Support service monitoring, reporting, and operational metrics
  • Work closely with service delivery, infrastructure, and application support teams
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand service needs and operational requirements
  • Support cross-team initiatives related to service improvement and operational resilience
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, workflows, and service processes
  • Support continuous service improvement initiatives (CSI)
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge sharing around platform usage and service management practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience working within enterprise IT environments
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
  • Strong understanding of ITIL service management processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Fulfilment
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications or IT infrastructure
  • Experience working within structured service delivery environments
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA or ITSM related modules)
  • Experience with CMDB, asset management, or service catalog
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments or regulated industries
  • Experience with platform governance, release management, or upgrades
  • Exposure to automation, integrations, or service monitoring tools
