Responsibilities:

• Set up and start injection molding machines, robotics, printing, and packaging equipment; complete all required documentation and obtain first ? piece approval prior to releasing production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues, documenting corrective actions and making necessary adjustments to maintain established process parameters.
• Execute efficient setup practices to support production schedules and coordinate daily priorities with management.
• Train assigned employees on processing procedures, safe machine operation, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform mold changeovers and teardowns as needed; ensure proper handling, storage, and overall mold care. Responsibilities include mold setup, machine adjustments, first ? piece inspections, troubleshooting, and process documentation.
• Operate forklifts and other material ? handling equipment to support mold changes, setups, and production activities.
• Identify and recommend improvements to production methods, workflows, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with Corporate Maintenance on preventive maintenance needs, repairs, and special projects.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet specifications, including first ? article inspections and ongoing quality verification.
• Follow all safety requirements, including PPE use, ergonomic practices, and housekeeping standards; promptly report safety concerns.
• Support Injection Team operations by performing tasks necessary to maintain workflow and achieve production targets.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and leadership, following the established chain of command and addressing operational needs.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, adherence to company policies, and positive workplace culture.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• 3-5 years of injection molding experience, including setup, processing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with a variety of resins (PE, ABS, nylon, engineered materials, TPE) preferred; blow molding a plus.
• Ability to set up, operate, and program injection molding equipment and maintain process settings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem ? solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; able to follow work instructions and quality standards.
• Basic math and computer skills for production reporting and ERP/MRP data entry.
• Team ? focused on the ability to build positive working relationships.
