Our Director of Reservation play a vital role in our resident and guest outcomes and overall experience. We are looking for skilled Director of Reservations to become a part of our facility's compassionate and hospitable care-giving team.

The Director of Reservations will be primarily responsible for census development, referral to admission conversion process, reviewing hospital referrals, entering orders and ensuring a smooth and comfortable transition into the resort.

Requirements:Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in admissions, healthcare administration, or a skilled nursing facility strongly preferred
- Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations is highly desirable
Knowledge of Healthcare Regulations
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance plans
- Knowledge of skilled nursing admission criteria and documentation requirements
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage digital documentation and admissions tracking systems
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with hospitals, physicians, patients, and family members
- Professional demeanor with a customer service-focused approach
Organizational & Multitasking Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple admissions, referrals, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
Duties-Related Competencies
- Coordinate and process incoming referrals and admissions
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure appropriate patient placement
- Maintain accurate and complete admission records
- Serve as a liaison between the facility, hospitals, and families
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
- Ability to assess patient eligibility and resolve admission-related issues
- Strong critical thinking skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Other Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings
- Knowledge of local healthcare networks and referral sources is a plus
