This role sits at the heart of a fast-scaling, AI-native product organization, responsible for leading and shaping a major part of the engineering function focused on core product experience. You will oversee multiple engineering teams and leaders, ensuring they deliver high-quality, impactful user-facing experiences while maintaining strong technical foundations. Operating in a highly dynamic environment, you will define technical direction, guide architectural decisions, and ensure alignment between engineering execution and broader product strategy. A key part of your mission will be enabling teams to build and scale AI-powered capabilities, while also fostering a culture of ownership, speed, and engineering excellence. You will work closely with Product and Design leadership to translate strategic goals into clear, executable roadmaps. This is a high-impact leadership position in a distributed, global engineering organization where your decisions will directly influence product scalability and innovation. Accountabilities:

Lead and scale multiple engineering teams within the Core Experience organization, including management of Engineering Managers and senior engineers.
Define and drive technical strategy across a broad product area, ensuring alignment with company priorities and product vision.
Partner with Product and Design leadership to translate strategy into clear execution plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
Oversee delivery of high-quality, user-facing product experiences with a strong balance of speed, scalability, and maintainability.
Guide architectural decisions and ensure strong engineering standards across teams.
Support and shape the development of AI-native product capabilities, including LLM-powered features and workflows.
Foster a high-performance, ownership-driven engineering culture focused on growth, accountability, and impact.
Ensure clarity, alignment, and effective execution across distributed, cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and Engineering Managers in a high-growth SaaS or product-led environment.
Strong technical background with the ability to contribute to architecture discussions and technical strategy decisions.
Experience defining and executing technical roadmaps across large product areas.
Track record of coaching and developing engineering leaders and building high-performing teams.
Experience delivering user-facing product features in fast-paced environments.
Hands-on exposure to AI-native products or AI-powered product development.
Experience working in distributed, remote-first organizations across multiple geographies.
Strong execution mindset with the ability to balance quality, speed, and long-term scalability.
Experience in scaling organizations and navigating growth-stage challenges.
Strong product sense and ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Design teams.
Nice to have: experience with developer tools, workflow automation, TypeScript/Node.js, or open-source ecosystems.
