Weekend coverage needed

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties. Additional responsibilities are required, such as maintaining proficiency with echo/ultrasound equipment, communicating with other members of the interprofessional care team, completing daily clerical tasks and providing on-call coverage as scheduled. They will serve as an ambassador for the department as well as the Center by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

Education required:

High School Diploma/GED

Successful completion of a Echocardiography/cardiovascular education program.

Certification required:

Basic Life Support (BLS)
RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS

Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required
Transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, administering contrast enhancing agent.
