At Titans Auto Group, we are committed to providing top-notch automotive services to our valued customers. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical problems, testing parts and systems, and performing both basic and advanced maintenance on various vehicles. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our customers' vehicles are in optimal condition.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

  • Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including Saturdays and overtime when required.
  • Able to diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc., to specification.
  • Ability to access all areas of vehicles to correctly diagnose problems and perform all repairs.
  • Knowledge of engine management, including, but not limited to, emission, fuel, and ignition systems.
  • Ability to accurately identify mechanical problems using both manual and computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Correctly disassemble and reassemble parts.
  • Knowledge of integrated electronic systems, such as sensors.
  • Capable of utilizing power tools including, but not limited to, pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding torches, and jacks and hoists. Also, able to use common hand tools such as sockets and ratchets, wrenches, and pliers.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic) - GM experience a plus.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining high customer service.
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
  • Ability to provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
  • Able to explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors.
  • Acceptable verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to carefully follow directions, checklists, and established procedures.
  • Willing to adhere to all Warranty, federal and state agency, and company compliance processes with regards to repair, hazardous materials, disposal, and safety.
