Food Runner in Alexandria, Virginia at Belle Haven Country Club

Belle Haven Country Club seeks FT and PT Food Runners to assist in our dining room outlets. Must be available for either weekday or weekend service schedules. Great starting wage, plus tips and house gratuities.

· Carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.

· Replace table linen and set tables with silverware and glassware.

· Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room.

· Service ice water and butter to guests.

· Clean and polish glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers.

· Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints or issues.

· Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests.

· Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.

· Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.

• Minimum lifting of over 20 pounds must be able to deliver food with tray service.

Must have 1-year prior restaurant experience.

Must be able to work either weekdays or weekends.
