Join Avera as a CT Technologist and work with multiple modalities, and disciplines throughout the Family Health Center ED location.
Position Highlights:

Job Summary
- Operate specialized equipment to produce quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
- Perform all diagnostic radiological procedures and departmental duties as directed.
- The CT/X-ray Technologist plays a vital role in our Imaging Services department by producing high quality diagnostic x-rays and Computed Tomography (CT) exams as directed by physicians using established practices, protocols, and procedures. Collaborate with healthcare providers, demonstrate empathy, and compassion towards patients, and ensure a safe and comfortable imaging experience. This position provides the opportunity to work as a multi-modality technologist in a clinical and ED environment.
- Department consists of 12 highly trained CT/X-ray technologists
- Work in a clinical, Urgent Care, and ED environment
- Multi-modality doing CT and X-ray
Education and/or Experience
- Completion of an Associate’s degree, or an accredited School of Radiology is required.
- Thorough knowledge of radiologic and CT terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human anatomy required.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- ARRT (R) Radiography Registry required within 60 days of receiving a certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Registry preferred.
Work Schedule
- Varied Shifts; 72hrs/2wks, 12-hour shifts. Great work-life balance.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
- $26.25 - $39.50 per hour
