Overview:

  • Tax experience - including sales & use tax, personal property taxes and business licenses
  • Financial reporting experience, -including full responsibility of financial statement preparation and in-depth analysis.

Tax Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns for various jurisdictions
  • Prepare annual business personal property tax returns/renditions
  • File business license applications and renewals
  • Assist with corporate federal and state tax returns
  • Respond to all tax correspondence
  • Point of contact for all audits – tax and insurance

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Maintain balance sheet schedules such as fixed assets, prepaid and accrued expenses
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Prepare month-end financial statements and reports
  • Assist with annual budget process

Position Requirements:


  • Position requires a minimum of 5 years in tax preparation and financial reporting, including full responsibility of financial statement preparation and in-depth analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong computer skills in Excel, Power Point, and SQL. Knowledge of BST Global Accounting Software and Crystal Reports a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, independent worker is a must. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
