Position Details:
AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Social Workers and Mental Health providers who support students across Michigan! We are currently hiring a full-time School Social Worker to support students in South Lyon, Michigan, across two elementary buildings with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students.

AnthroMed Education’s team includes experienced leaders who are committed to your success. Our LCSW Director of Social Work Services provides supervision, resources, and guidance to ensure a positive and supported experience throughout the school year.

School Social Worker Requirements:

• Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work.
• LMSW license or eligibility in the State of Michigan.
• Approved School Social Work (SSW) Form (SS310).
• Preferred experience in a K-12 educational setting.

School Social Worker Responsibilities:

• Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions, promoting social-emotional learning in classrooms.
• Create lesson plans for SEL learning and other interventions in collaboration with teachers.
• Promote a positive school climate by utilizing evidence-based practices for safe and supportive environments.
• Develop and implement IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs to meet individual student needs.
• Provide advocacy, child welfare, and case management services to students.
• Assess and provide clinical interventions for students with emotional, social, attendance, and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to address mental health and social-emotional issues impacting student success.
• Facilitate professional development for staff in areas of SEL, self-care, and trauma-informed practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support student success.

Compensation: Full salary paid weekly ranging from $55,000–$75,000, based on experience.
