Hours per week: full-time (40 hours)

Schedule: Wed 11am - 7pm, Thursday-Friday 11am - 8pm, Sat 7am - 4pm and Sun 8am - 6pm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Cleaner will perform general cleaning and upkeep for a large commercial
building and public facilities area. Individuals in these janitorial positions will
ensure the building, grounds, and equipment are in a clean, orderly, and
functional condition.

Summary of duties:

• Commercial Janitorial duties (sweep, mop, remove trash, replace can liners, restock consumables, etc.)
• Litter pickup in outdoor common areas and sidewalks
• Remove and replace trash bags in trash can
• Sweep and mop interior floors
• Clean and maintenance of the interior and exterior of city-owned properties
• responsible for watering plants
• light touch up paintings
• possible graffiti removal (we will teach you)
• Mandatory Snow Removal and possible overtime

Qualifications:

• Must have 1 year of recent commercial janitorial experience
• Must have a working phone that is able to download three mobile apps used to complete the job
• Must be in good physical condition and health, without mental or physical disabilities or impairments which would reasonably be expected to interfere with the performance of the services or prevent you from being able to walk your assigned route
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet, heat, cold)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be age 18 or over
• Must have good attendance and punctuality
• Must have good customer-service attitude
