Part-time Night Custodian

Reports To: Custodial Supervisor
Employment Type: Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys cleaning and doing floor maintenance in a school facility in the Whites Creek area (North of Nashville, near the interception of Briley Pkwy and I-24 toward Clarksville).

Responsibilities:

• perform routine cleaning tasks that include, but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, wet & dry mopping, cleaning restrooms, Gym, classrooms, hallways, offices, general areas, and the cafeteria, emptying trash, picking up debris from grounds, windows, and doors cleaning, etc.
• event setup/cleanup (moving furniture and setup assemblies)
• floor/carpet maintenance work is expected during school breaks throughout the year.

Working Hours:

• 30 hours per week; Mondays through Fridays
  from 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
• opportunity to work more hours.

Compensation

$16.45 per hour plus some benefits

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a required background check to work in a school environment.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pulling, and pushing.
• Strong customer service skills and a responsible work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Capability to precisely track and log work hours using a smartphone
