About This Position
Summary Description
nbkc bank is currently looking for a Loan Servicing Representative II to join our Loan Administration team.
As a Loan Servicing Representative II, you will handle tasks like booking loans, preparing cashier’s checks, and reviewing loan quality. You’ll also maintain loan and customer info, quote loan payoffs, process wires, and help with reconciliations and document scanning.
This position will work @Flex (a combination of both in the office and at home) based out of our Kansas City, MO headquarters. We’re looking for someone who is excited to come into the office 3 days a week while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

What you’ll do
- Book loans onto core system; prepare cashier’s checks for loan fundings and fee disbursements.
- Conduct booked loan quality reviews and file original documents.
- Answer phone calls and monitor incoming requests via shared internal inbox.
- Post transactions to core system including payments, loan advances, payoff, pay-to-zero, non-accrual, charge-offs.
- Maintenance loan and customer information in core system including adding and waiving charges, updating addresses, adjust bill memos, corrections.
- Quote loan payoffs for internal and external customers.
- Participation posting and balance verification.
- Prepare wires.
- Department general ledger and account reconciliations.
- Verify and maintain customer financial documents to satisfy reporting covenants.
- Update interest rate tables in System Administration.
- Prepare and file releases on all collateral types in all states (i.e. mortgages/deeds of trust, assignments of rents, vehicles, UCCs) and cancel flood determinations.
- Customer statement and notice mailing.
- Assist in obtaining invoices for escrow disbursement processing.
- Document scanning for permanent retention.
- Assist Loan Officers, Loan Coordinators and Loan Documentation Specialists
- Follow all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-3 years previous experience in bank loan operations or servicing, the mortgage industry, consumer finance or other related activity required.
- General computer skills.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Office, Finastra Phoenix, nCino, LaserPro, and DocuSign applications.
- Possess a good understanding of loan structuring, pricing, and analysis of typical collateral items.
- Thorough understanding of standards, practices, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
