About This Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This role involves managing client relationships, handling policy renewals, processing claims, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
- Policy Management: Handle new and existing policies, including renewals, modifications, and cancellations.
- Claims Assistance: Assist clients with claims processing, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Sales & Retention: Support sales efforts by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all policies comply with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Customer Support: Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide expert guidance on insurance coverage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, insurance agents, and other team members to deliver optimal client solutions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in insurance account management, customer service, or a related role.
- Licensing: Relevant insurance licenses as required by state regulations (e.g., Property & Casualty, Life & Health).
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
