Preventative Maintenance Scheduler (On-site) at Lucas Oil Products Inc – Corydon, Indiana

Job Purpose: The Preventative Maintenance Scheduler's main role is to develop preventative maintenance work orders through the in-house CMMS. Prioritize work orders in order of importance, schedule down time with production scheduling, assure parts needed are available and gather parts for said work orders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Keeps Library organized.
• Assigns asset numbers and enters new equipment into CMMS system.
• Develop PM's from technical manuals.
• Creates daily pm list in order of importance.
• Works with Maintenance Supervisors relating to daily PM's.
• Ensures parts needed for PM's are available.
• Works with Production scheduling to allow for line down time.
• Tracks and schedules yearly man lift and crane inspections.
• Authorizes invoices for payment.
• Tracks maintenance expenses in Sage, generates reports for the Engineering Manager.
• Creates Bill of Materials for maintenance projects.
• Assists Parts Inventory Attendant when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

• Excellent computer skills.
• Inventory management skills preferred.
• Works well independently and with others.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.

Education/Certification required:

• High School Diploma
• Experience in scheduling preferred

Physical Requirements;

• Must be able to traverse property and facility on foot.
• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
