Friday Services is seeking a dependable and motivated individual, with a background in manufacturing and administrative roles to support customer operations for our client in Brevard, NC.

Location: Brevard, NC 28712

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: 1st 8a-4:30p M-F

Position Overview
Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams (Production, Shipping, Accounting, Freight, etc.), ensuring smooth order processing and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter, confirm, and process customer orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide order acknowledgements, pricing verification, and proactively resolve order discrepancies or billing issues.
  • Coordinate closely with Production and Shipping to align orders with customer specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Process customer setup, finished goods setup, quotes, credits, returns, and exchanges, and support billing.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Assist with ERP setup tasks, documentation management, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of customer service experience, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport internally and externally.
  • Proactive problem solver who takes ownership and works independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Bilingual candidates (especially Spanish) a plus.

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to occasionally handle moderate physical tasks (e.g., lifting up to 25 lbs., walking through plant areas).
