Science Teacher at Science Academies of NY – Frankfort, New York

Teach science to secondary school students (6-12 grade). Design and develop science

curriculum. Prepare course objectives, outlines, and syllabus for science courses. Prepare,

administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students' progress. Assign and grade

classwork and homework. Plan and coordinate preparation of students for training programs,

field trips, and workshops to support school projects.

Bachelor Degree in Science Education, Chemistry Education, Biology Education, Physics

Education, or in an Engineering field is required. 2 years of experience as a Science Teacher is

required. New York State Teacher Certification is required. 40 hrs./wk and $80,000/yr. Send
