UI/UX Designer at C Mack Solutions LLC – Ashburn, Virginia

C. Mack Solutions is looking for a User Interface/User Experience Designer to join our team.

As a UI/UX Designer you will:

• Design intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Translate business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver elegant, scalable solutions
• Conduct user research, and usability testing
• Create user personas, journey maps, and interaction flows
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes (low- and high-fidelity)
• Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Maintain and evolve design systems and UI component libraries
• Partner with engineering to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Analyze user behavior data to iterate and improve UX
• Ensure accessibility (Section 508 standards) and inclusive design best practices
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership

You must live within the DC, MD, VA area.

U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain CBP Public Trust clearance.

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process
• Proficiency in Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools
• Experience designing responsive and mobile-first applications
• Solid understanding of interaction design, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Familiarity with usability testing methodologies
• Ability to collaborate in agile/scrum environments

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience working with enterprise, cloud-based systems
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience building or contributing to design systems
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (508 Compliance)
• Experience with data visualization or dashboard design
• AI product design experience (e.g., conversational interfaces, automation tools)
