CAREGIVER / CNA / HHA - Consistent Hours at Platinum Care Group – Park Ridge, Illinois

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a 34-year-old client in a home setting. The schedule for this role is Live-In Wednesday–Friday and Saturday–Sunday. This position focuses on supervision, companionship, transportation support, medication reminders, and encouraging independence in daily routines. The ideal caregiver is structured, attentive, and comfortable providing consistent supervision while promoting safety and self-sufficiency.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Provide continuous supervision and companionship; client should not be left unattended.
• Assist with transportation and escort to appointments, errands, community outings, and activities as needed.
• Provide medication reminders twice daily and as needed, ensuring medications are taken properly
• Assist with meal preparation and encourage balanced, home-cooked meals.
• Support personal hygiene routines through reminders and guidance (client is independent with ADLs but requires oversight).
• Encourage participation in daily chores and household organization.
• Perform light housekeeping and weekly cleaning tasks including laundry, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and changing bed linens.
• Track client spending during outings and maintain receipts as required.
• Observe and report changes in behavior, condition, or needs to the care team.

Requirements

Caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA a plus)
