What You’ll Do
- Deliver safe, age-appropriate nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Create, modify, and document individualized plans of care for patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver holistic care.
- Educate patients and families, empowering them with knowledge for recovery and health management.
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to support staff, ensuring safe and effective care.
- Participate in unit projects and hospital initiatives to improve patient care.
- Mentor and support fellow nurses through preceptorship and professional development.
- Uphold patient rights, privacy, and dignity in every interaction.
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- PALS preferred.
- One to two years of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Comfort with computers and commitment to confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities.
