Hours: Full-time // M-F2:00pm-10:30pm
Pay Rate: 27.00/HR
Required: Class B license w/ Passenger Endorsement
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and safetyfocused CDL Shuttle Bus Driver to join our operations team. The ideal candidate is customerservice oriented, maintains an excellent driving record, and is committed to providing safe and timely transportation for passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a shuttle bus on designated routes .
- Transport passengers in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
- Follow all federal, state, and company transportation regulations.
- Complete logs, incident reports, and required documentation accurately.
- Assist passengers as needed, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Class B with Passenger Endorsement).
- Minimum 2 years of commercial or passenger driving experience preferred.
- Ability to operate safely during evening/PM hours.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to sit, drive, and assist passengers as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating shuttle buses in campus, hotel, airport, or employee transport settings.
- Knowledge of DOT safety standards.
- Familiarity with local routes in Fresno, CA.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to drive continuously in the designated shuttle for a minimum of 2-3 hours.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
- Ability to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
- Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using hands, wrists and arms.
- Ability to perform functions that require repetitive motions using ankles, knees and hips.
- Ability to express or exchange information, instructions, ideas, etc. by means of the spoken word.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make the discrimination's in sound.
