About This Position

Description:

Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Director to lead our financial planning and management efforts for Dual Full-Service hotels in the Houston area. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the financial health and growth of our organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of financial operations within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Develop and oversee the implementation of financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure organizational financial health.
  • - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to support business decision-making.
  • - Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of reports to stakeholders.
  • - Collaborate with executive leadership to set financial goals and monitor performance against targets.
  • - Oversee cash flow management, investment activities, and risk management initiatives.
  • - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • - Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth across 2 hotels.
Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred.
  • - Proven experience in senior financial management roles, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Prior area manager or director role experience is a plus but not requires
  • - Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • - Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • - Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • - Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
