Sensity has an exciting opportunity for Data Digitization Summer Student to join our team in Paris, ON.

The Data Digitization Summer Student will assist the Human Resources department by converting paper-based employee records into digital formats and uploading information into the organization’s HRIS (Human Resources Information System). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented student who is comfortable working with both paper documents and digital systems, and who is interested in gaining experience in HR administration and data management.


Shifts Available:

  • Student Contract Duration: May 4th, 2026 - August 28th, 2026
  • 40 hours per week (8:30am-4:30pm)

Key Activities:

  • Prepare, organize, and digitize paper HR and training files.
  • Accurately enter employee and training data into digital templates and upload files into the HRIS.
  • Review and reconcile training records by partnering with the Training team, ensuring data from the payroll system is accurately transitioned into the HRIS.
  • Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of uploaded data.
  • Scan, label, and electronically file documents into the appropriate digital locations or HRIS fields.
  • Identify gaps or discrepancies in records and escalate them to the HR team as needed.
  • Review and reconcile training records by partnering with the Training team, ensuring data from one system is accurately transitioned into the HRIS.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, following all privacy and security protocols.
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks as required.
  • Support improvements to data organization and digital file management processes.
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with computers, scanners, and digital filing systems.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with data entry or administrative tasks is an asset, but not required.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or database systems is an asset (training will be provided).


Additional Requirements:

  • Employment is conditional upon receipt of a successful Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • This position requires repetitive hand motion and good manual dexterity and moderate stooping, bending and lifting. The incumbent must be able to lift 35 lbs to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
  • French may be considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills for both verbally and written of the English language.
