We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Intern to support our team in dashboard development, data analysis, and SQL-based reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, and improving reporting accuracy and visibility across the organization.
The intern will gain hands-on experience working with real business data in a fully remote environment while contributing to meaningful operational and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Dashboard Maintenance & Build
- Maintain and update existing dashboards to ensure data accuracy
- Develop new dashboards to support business initiatives
- Improve clarity, usability, and reporting consistency
Data Analysis & Statistical Correlations
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Validate data accuracy and investigate anomalies
- Summarize findings to support operational and strategic decisions
SQL Code Adjustments for Data Queries
- Write and modify SQL queries to extract and refine data
- Optimize queries for accuracy and efficiency
- Support data integrity and maintain query documentation
- Leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance analysis, reporting efficiency, and code development while maintaining data accuracy and integrity
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during the internship period
- Basic to intermediate SQL proficiency
- Strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) is a plus
- Familiarity with statistical concepts (correlation, regression, variance, etc.)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely
