Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Phlebotomist I to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, grow their skills, and contribute as part of a collaborative team. The Phlebotomist I will work under supervision to provide excellent patient care, assist with specimen collection, and support daily operations in patient service centers and clinical environments.
Pay and Benefits:
- $16.00 per hour base pay

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collections
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and preparation of samples for testing and transport
- Accurately enter patient data, order choices, and specimen details into the system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and patient care skills
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of phlebotomy training and a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience (required)
- Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in email communication and basic computer functions
- All candidates must pass a background check in compliance with Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) guidelines
- High school diploma; GED
License/Certification:
- Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
