This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Director, IT Portfolio (Remote). In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor between IT and business units, managing the demand side of IT relationships by understanding business strategies and shaping technology roadmaps. You'll oversee the prioritization of project portfolios to maximize value and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Your work will have a significant impact on optimizing technology investments, managing risks, and implementing a company-wide AI strategy. Accountabilities- Partner with Business Leadership to deliver on their technology solutions.
- Serve as the 'face of IT' for assigned portfolios, building relationships with department heads.
- Communicate the business needs within the IT organization and vice versa.
- Define and track ROI and business outcomes of technology investments.
- Lead the Intake Process using the established Jira framework.
- Maintain a multi-year technology roadmap ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings to balance competing priorities.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define high-level requirements.
- Manage dependencies across different IT pillars and external departments.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a high-level escalation point for service delivery issues.
- Champion a holistic company-wide AI strategy and roadmap.
- 10+ years in IT management, business analysis, or relationship management.
- 5-7 years in a leadership role.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into technical requirements.
- Experience working with business operations in Finance, Legal, Procurement, and HR.
- Proficient in managing portfolios within Jira; familiarity with Anaplan is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and navigate project shifts.
- Exceptional communication skills to provide clear options to executive leadership.
