Resource Coordinator at St. Josephs Candler – Savannah, Georgia

Under the general supervision of the Manager of the unit, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating in conjunction with health care teams, staffing, supplies/equipment, and patient flow/scheduling as a charge agent. Develop, motivate, assess, and negotiate as a charge agent in an effort to enhance organizational effectiveness. Utilizes the nursing process to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients based on current standards of practice. Functions within the permissible scope of nursing practice as defined by the Georgia Board of Nursing and St. Joseph's/Candler Health System policies and procedures. Maintains open communication and is available to component organizations and practitioners sites for consultation.

Associate Degree in Nursing - Required

Minimum of two year's experience as a registered nurse. Must have the ability to work effectively with fellow employees, MD's and patients. Must have experience in related perioperative field.

Must obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
